In Riley's first season with the Gobblers he managed to hold off a fellow rookie along with a host of chasers who sought to upset the weekend leader. Riley never lost his composure throughout a soggy, muddy, rain drenched weekend. Most impressively, despite a slow start on the final round Riley was able to keep the wheels on and take home the belt.
